We are happy to announce that Swedish BankID is now included as a signing tool in our aggregator service, which gathers e-signing methods from a variety of countries and qualified trust service providers (QTSP).

This gives Swedish BankID-users access to signing documents electronically on an advanced level (AdES) together with parties from outside Sweden and the Nordics, who use their own qualified electronic signatures (QES).

Today’s launch is a step in our work to bridge the gap between the Nordics and the rest of Europe regarding e-signing. Also parties from other parts of the world are now able to sign documents electronically together with signers from Europe, the Nordics and Sweden.

By collaborating with qualified trust service providers that issue signature certificates through remote onboarding, we contribute to making it possible for parties from e.g. Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand and USA to sign documents together with Europeans and Nordics. Through our partner Evrotrust, citizens of 58 countries have a possibility to acquire a qualified electronic signature that can be used through our service.

In addition to Swedish BankID, the netbank and mobile ID means of Finnish Trust Network (FTN) are available for advanced e-signing through eID Easy’s aggregator since September 2021.
